Govardhan Academy Youth Empowerment Fund
This Youth Empowerment Fund is using the Gift Exchange online platform for marketing local goods and crafts made by Govardhan Academy students. Our gift baskets source items made by local artisans, paying them fairly, up front. Profits from the baskets are invested into the Empowerment Fund which allows us to employ youth in agriculture, forestry, construction, cultural events and guest services.
Dharma Discovery Youth Empowerment Fund
Hands-on learning about cow care, ox cart & plowing, gardening, forestry, natural building, cob, arts, crafts & markets. We feature Vaishya life: cow and ox care, farming and trade in markets. To feed the community, we need more hands in the soil come spring. This is our endeavour to ensure food security and sustainability.
How you can help
Contribute by buying baskets, donating items to our online thrift boutique, signing up for Community Supported Agriculture, and attending events like crafternoons, trade faires and markets.
